12. HANG HER!

Narrator : Agatha is hunted and found.
They bring her half-dead to the Royal Judge Alston .
Yrel , Irianna and Edeline , the two sisters who run the tavern
swear they saw her serving D'luvien the wine that night.
The judge does not want innocent blood on his hands.
Agatha begs for a quick death ...

Judge Alston : Is it her? The murderess? Bring her close to me!
Do you plead your innocence or your unrepentant guilt?
Did she fight ? Did she resist ? Did she try to run?
Who was there ? What did you see? Speak now, everyone !

Edeline : I saw her on the night he died, I swear she looked so glad.
Yrel : I saw her by his table hiding something in her hand.

Edeline : I saw her serving him the wine and waiting by the door.
Irianna : I saw her running to the woods when he fell on the floor.

The villagers : We looked for her so far and wide.
Yrel and Irianna : And found her by a church tonight.
The villagers : Lying there half alive.
Kristan : And freezing in the cold.
The villagers : We took her as she lay there still.
We forced her but she wouldn't speak
Edeline : Now look at her how weak she is.
The villagers : As if she wants to die!

Yrel : Alone she was on the ground just waiting to be found.
Unable to fight back to resist us...

Edeline : In the rain, shivering and lying there afraid to move.
Could she really see us?

Judge Alston : Speak to us , defend yourself, or confess your crime.
Speak the truth. What did you do?
What secrets do you hide?

Agatha : I won't plead for your lenience, I'm guilty of this crime.
I'm waiting for my punishment to sentence me to die.

Edeline : It was her plan to murder him, she poisoned him that day!

Irianna : Let's send her to the gallows, let's burn her at the stakes!

The villagers : Let's stone her in the village square .
Kristan : Let's whip her till she bleeds to death !
The villagers : Let's hang her from the tallest tree.
Yrel and Irianna : She doesn't deserve to live!
The villagers : Justice will be served right now!
Edeline : The judge will tell us where and how.
The villagers : The people spoke and she confessed.
Let punishment be fair!

~ Death to the murderess! ~ Throw her in the dungeon! ~ Stone her!
~ Blood! ~ We want blood! ~ Hang her ! ~ Death! ~ Murderess! ~ Throw her...

Judge Alston : Quiet now, let me think, what to do with her ...
To take a life I must be sure ...

Edeline and Irianna : Her fate is in your hands...

Agatha :I killed that man I poisoned him and I don't want to live.
Don't throw me in a prison, please let my death be quick.

Edeline: She's pleading guilty for her crime and how brave this must be.

Yrel : Her guilt is driving her insane .
Irianna : My Lord please set her free...


Narrator : Her ultimate sacrifice is her ultimate crime.
