Narrator :
Tonight the monster dies ! Olaf arrives from the North.
His friends Merek and Kristan welcome him.
Fearless the three of them draw their swords.
Irianna , Edeline and Yrel call the villagers to the square
and beg them to save the village.
And then they hear his voice..

Kristan : Fearless in the night we walk.
Olaf : He's going to confront our swords.
Merek : God is always on our side.
~ Protecting us from harm ~
Merek : Look down here !
Olaf : Look up there !
Kristan : He could be anywhere !
~ Stab him with your silver knives !
Don't you look into his eyes ~

The women : He will die !

~ Bang him on the head with bats , slit his throat , cut out his heart !
He'll be screaming like a pig , no mercy for the beast ! ~
Merek : How ignorant you are !
Olaf : He cannot be killed like that !
Kristan : Strap him down cut off his head !
~ We will send him back to hell ~

The women : Fight him ! Kill him ! You are brave.
This time , tonight , set us free...
Here tonight , he will die !

Yrel & Irianna : Fight , here tonight , set us free !
Only you can save our lives...

D'luvien : Go away peasants , there's no need to fear .
Your weapons are useless for you cannot touch me.
My skin is cold there's no blood in my veins.
I'm but a shadow of my own remains...


Olaf : Monster we will hunt you down!
Merek : And your blood will soak the ground !
Kristan : In the name of God we act !
~ His will is our command ~
Merek : Where are you hiding now ?
Olaf : You belong underground !
Kristan : Don't you think we will return
~ Back home without your head ~

The women : Fight ! How brave you can be ! You can set us free !
Here tonight , he will die ...

~ You don't scare us anymore , we will skin you to the bone
There's no place for you to hide you'll meet your end tonight ~
Kristan : Show yourself if you dare !
Olaf : And the fight will be fair.
Merek : Look around he'll run away !
~ We must send him to his grave ~
Kristan : He will die !

The women : Fight him ! Kill him ! You are brave !
This time , tonight , set us free... Here tonight , he will die !


Olaf : Lay down your weapons , no need to fight , he's only a man.
Merek : Are you a traveller ? Have you been lost or looking for help ?
Olaf : Are you a prisoner ? What is your crime ? Who have you killed ?
Merek : Tell us your story , show us your face and we'll let you be...

Olaf : Why are you silent ? Merek : Are you a prisoner ?
Are you afraid ? What is your crime ?
Do you have purpose or .. Are you a traveller ?
Do you have faith ? Have you been lost ?
Have you been tortured ? Tell us your story !

You look distorted ... What are you looking for ?

Olaf : Is there a place you call home or you feel you belong ?
Are you out there all alone forgotten by the world ?

Merek : Are you running from your past with fear and hatred in your heart ? What 's a life in the dark hidden behind a mask ?

The women : Silent now he remains. Kristan : Leave him , step away!
A proof of his pain. My old friend..
Let him be , here in peace. Can you really be here ?
His journey was long. Not so long ago,
Yet nowhere to go. This was your home
Let him be , here's his home... Here's where I buried you in this cloak...


Narrator : Face to face with the man behind the mask.
Can it be him ? The mask drops. And so do the swords.
